Raw banana croquette

love experimenting cooking different dishes... I found the Raw banana croquette
recipe in the Saturday - Pune News line of Indian Express few years ago. This is a signature dish of one of the
restaurants...
I
have made this several times and this can be eaten by Diabetic patients who
cannot eat the normal Aloo tikki.
Ingredients :
Raw
Green Banana - 3
Jeera
Powder - 1 tsp
Pepper
Powder 1 tbsp
Salt
to taste
Cheese
- 3 small cubes
Finely
cut onions - 2
Chilli
- 2 to 3
Corriander
leaves - 1/4th cup
Bread
Crumbs
Maida
Milk
Method
:
Steam
or cook the raw banana in a pressure cooker for just 2 whistle so that it is
not overcooked. Cool it and mash the
same. Add all ingredients up to
Corriander leaves and mix them to a dough.
Make long croquette's and just dust them in the maida flour. Dip this in the milk and roll them in the
bread crumbs and deep fry till golden brown..
Serve with Green Chutney or Sauce.
