Idli Chilly Fry
I
had made some extra Idli's for breakfast... Made this Indo Chinese style of
Idli Chilli Fry a yummy snack which will be enjoyed by all.
To
make this dish, the Idli should be made in the morning and you can use them by
evening to make this fusion dish.
Ingredients :
Steamed
Idli - 16
Oil 1
tbsp
Chilli
Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
Chopped
Garlic 1 tbsp
Grated
Ginger - 2 tsp
Diced
onion - 1 large
Diced
Capsicum - Yellow & Red or Green
Ajinomoto
(you may avoid using Ajinomoto instead put 1 pinch of salt and 2 pinch of
sugar)
Tomato
Sauce - 2 tbsp
Soya
sauce - 2 tsp
Salt-sugar-pepper
powder to taste
Chopped
spring onion
Oil for
deep frying
Method:
Cut the
Idli into cubes and deep fry till it is light golden brown. Heat Oil in a pan and on a high flame add
chilly garlic paste, chopped garlic, grated ginger, onion & capsicum,
ajinomoto and stir fry for a minute. To this add tomato sauce, soya sauce,
salt, sugar and pepper powder. Now add
the Idli's and Spring onions. Toss them
gently and serve hot.
