Soya Chilly - Chinese Starter
I love
to eat Chinese Food... Whenever we got out to eat at a hotel, my preference is
always a Chinese Starter. This dish is
simple to make and delicious to eat!
Ingredients :
Soya
Chunks : 100 gms
Corn
Flour - 2 tbsp
Salt
and Pepper Powder
Oil for
Frying
Water
Ingredients for Sauce:
Oil - 2
tbsp
Finely
cut Garlic - 1 tbsp
Finely
cut Ginger - 1 tbsp
Medium
cut onions - 1/2 cup
Capsicum
cut into medium pieces -1/2 cup
Red
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Soya
Sauce & Red Chilli Sauce - 1tsp each
Tomato
Sauce - 2tbsp
Vinegar
- 1 tsp
Salt,
Sugar, Pepper Powder to taste
Corn
Flour - 1 tsp
Spring
Onion Green - 1/4th Cup
Method:
Heat
water and remove from fire. Add the soya
chunks to the hot water and keep aside for 10 minutes so that it is soft. Remove from hot water and put it in cold
water. Squeeze the water and keep it in
a plate. Add the corn flour, pepper
powder and salt and mix well and fry
this in hot oil till golden brown.
Heat
oil in a pan to make the sauce. Add the
garlic and saute, then the ginger, onion and Capsicum. Add the Red Chilli Powder, Soya Sauce &
Red Chilli Sauce, Tomato Sauce, Vinegar, Salt, Sugar, Pepper Powder and saute
well.
Take corn flour in a bowl and add
2 table spoon of water and add this to the mixture. Boil well and add the fried soya chunks and
spring onion and serve hot!
