MagVeg Tikki

MagVeg Tikki ....This is an interesting and very filling and a perfect snack for your kids as it contains richness of veggies and all time children's favourite Maggi Noodles.

Add as many veggies as you want to make this Tikki. While you make this dish you need to ensure that the vegetables and noodles are par boiled and not overcooked.  You can feel the crunchy taste of the veggies!

My family enjoyed this snack and my children have demanded that I make it again!

Ingredients :

Maggi Noodles - Double Pack
Par Boiled Green Peas 1/4 cup
Par Boiled Potato - 1 Large
Grated Carrot - 1/2 cup
Finely cut Capcicum - 1/4th cup
Finely cut Corriander leaves -  1/4th cup
Oats Powder
Oil for shallow frying the Tikki

For Masala :

Green Chilli paste - 1/s tbsp
Cumin or Jeera Powder - 1/2 tbsp
Sambar Masala - 1 tbsp
Maggi Masala - 2 packets
Turmeric Powder - 1/4th tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chicken Masala - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Besan (Gram) Flour - 2 tbsp
Milk (if required) for kneading

Method :

Boil the Maggi Noodles and do not overcook it to ensure that the Batter does not get sticky.    Strain the water.  In a bowl mash the par boiled vegetables and add rest of the vegetables and mix well.  Add the Maggi Noodles and all the masala and gram flour and knead well.   You may add little more besan if your dough gets sticky.  Make desired shapes of Tikki and pat the tikki in the Oats powder and shallow fry till both sides are golden brown.  Serve hot with Pudina Chutney & Tomato Sauce.
