Quick & Instant Rabadi
For making this Rabadi I have used
Bread to thicken the dessert instantly. This will definitely save your time and
energy which involves stirring the milk till it thickens.
This is a dessert which I make at the
demand of my children.
Make this instant and quick Rabdi for
any occasion and celebrate with loved ones.
Ingredients
:
Fresh whole Milk - 1/2 litre
Bread Slices (discard the
edges) - 3
Condensed Milk - 1/4th Cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
Sugar to taste
Saffron - 5 to 6 strands
Almonds - 3 to 4
When you make this dessert, you need
to ensure that the vessel / Kadhai you make this should not have been used for
making any dish made with masala etc.
Method
:
Discard the edges of bread and make
bread crumbs in a mixer. Add this to 1/2 litre milk and cook on high flame.
Stir this continuously till this reduces to have the volume. This would take approx 5 minutes. Now add the condensed milk, 1/2 tsp cardamom
powder, saffron and sugar if required to this mixture.
Mix well.. your Rabadi is ready in 15
to 20 minutes. Decorate with chopped
Almonds...You may serve this hot or chill this in fridge for 2 to 3 hours and
then serve.
