Do you get panicked when you suddenly have guests for lunch and dinner and you also know that your guest's  loves to eat chicken...

Dont' worry as you can try this Quick Chicken Curry in Pressure Cooker...  I consider the Pressure Cooker as my best friend in the kitchen as I can cook dishes  quickly.

I made this curry last week for our very close friend and it was Yummy!

Ingredients :

Chicken - 1/2 Kg
2 Cloves
2 Cardamom
1 Cinnamon
Ginger & Garlic Paste - 1 tsp each
Jeera Powder - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Corrainder Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/4th tsp
Grated Onion - 2 large
Tomato Puree - 1/4th cup
Oil + Ghee for cooking
Curd - 1/4th cup
Salt to taste
Corrainder leaves
Water

Method :

Clean the chicken and add curd and little salt and marinate the chicken for half hour.   In the cooker, add little ghee + oil and when hot, add the cloves, cardamom & cinnamon.  Before adding the grated onion ensure that you squeeze out the water from the grated onion.  Saute this till golden brown colour.  To this add the ginger garlic paste and saute for some more time.  Now add the masala one by one and then the tomato puree and saute this really well for 2 1/2 minutes.  Add the chicken and cook for some time till the masala mixes with the chicken.  Add the corriader leaves to this mixture and cook for some more time.  Now add enough water and close the lid of the pressure cooker.  After 1 whistle, slow the flame and allow to cook for 5 minutes.  Switch off the gas.  Once it is cool, open the lid and add the garam masala and mix well.  Decorate with Corriander leaves and cut lemon and serve with Roti / Rice.
