Jal Jeera - Indian Lemonade

Jaljeera is a refreshing Indian Lemonade which will keep you fresh in the hot
summer due to it's cooling effect. It is
also excellent for digestion!
The cumin is a medicinal
ingredient which aids digestion. The
mint has a cooling effect. Black
salt or rock salt is good for digestion.
One day, I made this drink and had
taken it to office. All my colleagues
really enjoyed the drink!
Go ahead and prepare this
refreshing drink and will coool this summer!
Ingredients :
Tamarind - 100 grams
Mint leaves - 2 cups
Lemon Juice - 3 tbsp
Jeera Powder - 2 tsp
Black salt - 1 tsp
Sugar - 250 gm
Chaat Masala - 2 tsp
Tata Salt - 1 tsp
Water - 1.5 ltr
Ice Cubes
Salted Boondi - 100 gms
Method
:
Soak the Tamarind in half liter water for half
hour. Grind this to a pulp in the mixer
and strain it. Grind the mint leaves to
a fine paste. In 1.5 liter water add the
strained pulp, pudina paste, lemon juice and other ingredients upto Ice cubes
and mix well. While serving put little
Boondi in the glass and pour the Jaljeera in the glass. Decorate with a mint leaves and serve
chilled.
