Apple Coconut Barfi
My colleague at office, Meghana shared
this recipe with me.... I reached home after work and after finishing with my daughter's homework, got into the kitchen and luckily
had all the ingredients for making this dish.
I made this Barfi several times and it has been a favourite dessert
among family and friends!
Ingredients :
1 Cup Desiccated Coconut
1 Apple - minced finely
1/2 Lemon
Half cup Sugar powder
Cardamom Powder
Badam for garnishing
Method:
Mince the apple and squeeze lemon juice over it. In a Kadhai
first dry roast the coconut on low flame. Add the powdered
sugar. Add the minced apple and cook for some time. Add
the cardamom powder to this mixture. You can add more sugar if
required. Set this and cut into pieces.
