Moong Dal (Protein) Idli
Three to Four Idli's with a bowl full of Sambar and green
chutney and a tumbler of filter coffee... this is what you will be served in South
India for breakfast.
This is one of the most nutritious meal of the day. Tried making the below Idli which is very
good source of protein & easy to digest.
Make this different version of healthy Idli's and enjoy!

Finely cut spinach - 1/2 cup
Method:
Soak Moong dal for 1 to 2
hours. Wash and add all ingredients up to salt and make a thick dough. Make the
tadka and this to the Batter. Put oil on
the Idli mould and heat the Idli cooker with water. Add the Eno salt to the batter and mix
well. Immediately put batter in the mould and steam the Idli's for
10 minutes. Serve hot with green chutney
