Steamed Corn Ball Bites
Boiled Corn / roasted corn with lemon juice, some chaat
masala salt and chilli powder is a great dish which is especially enjoyed during
the monsoons!
There are several dishes that you can make from Corn... You

This recipe that I am sharing today is for all those diet
conscious folks who would not prefer the fried version of any snack :) Most of you must have tried and tasted corn
balls, but this recipe of
the steamed corn balls are not deep fried but steamed and just stir fried.

This is a healthy snack and you may make them for your
breakfast and enjoy it with your hot cup of tea or coffee...
Ingredients:
Corn Grated - 1/2 cup
Fine Semolina or Rava - 2 tbsp
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Finely cut chillies - 1 tbsp
Finely cut coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Garam Masala powder - 1/4th tsp
Cumin - Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Salt & Sugar to taste
Lemon juice to taste
Curd - 2 tbsp
Soda - 1/4th tsp
For the seasoning:
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt & Chaat masala to taste
Asafetodia a pinch
Method :
Mix all the above ingredients together and make a soft
mixture. Apply oil on your palm and take
the mixture and make small balls. Steam
these balls in a steamer for 15 minutes.
Make the seasoning ready and transfer the steamed balls into
the seasoning mixture and saute for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot with any chutney or sauce of your
choice.
