Bhadang - Spicy Puffed Rice

As kids we enjoyed eating 'Bhadang', i.e.puffed rice (churmere/Murmura) Chivda. It contains variety of spices in it.  Our neighbour aunty made this snack during Diwali and used to pack it in containers for us as she knew I loved to eat spicy snacks.

This is a snack which can be made very quickly and can be eaten at anytime, especially with tea.  It can be spiced up with onions, coriander leaves and a squeeze of lemon...

If you are craving for something spicy to munch you can binge on this dish without having to think twice about your weighing scale. Yes it is the Badang or  Spicy Puffed Rice a popular snack throughout India... so make this and just enjoy this low calorie  snack if you are on diet or not :).
