Pavta Usal - Lima Beans Usal

My neighbour Geeta Kaku got me a big bowl full of Pavta - Lima Beans and told me that she had got loads of it from the market and I could make Usal out of it.

I have always seen this vegetable in the market especially during the winter season but did not ever buy the vegetable or cook it at home. I have made Peas Usal and Matki Usal (all Maharashtrian Sabji's) so thought I can try the same method to make this Usal too.

It was quick and easy and also very delicious and goes well with chapati, bread or rice.
Take a quick note of the Pavta Usal and don't forget to leave your feedback!
