Chatpata Maggie Bhel

Ganesh Festival is one of the reasons for all society members to meet and greet each other... I am sure after eating the sweets that are distributed or prepared as Prasad for the deity almost for 7 to 10 days we crave for some salty or spicy snack.

Yesterday after we were back home after the Ganesh Pooja... no one wanted to eat heavy dinner... so this is what I made - Maggi Bhel which is a crunchy snack... which was very much enjoyed by my family members after eating so much of sweets :)

This recipe is sure to excite you...It's a mind-blowing treat which would be enjoyed by young and old!  It is very simple to make and can be served as a tiffin snack or tea time snack.

So are you ready to make this innovative snack??

Ingredients :

Maggie Atta Noodles - 1 packet
Maggie Masala
2 tbsp Tomato Sauce
2 tsp Oil
1 Onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 Green chilly finely chopped
2 tbsp Groundnut
1 Potato boiled and cut into cubes
Pinch of chaat masala
2 tbsp Aloo Bhujia
Coriander leaves

Method:

Crush the Maggie and dry roast the same in a pan.  In the same pan add the oil and fry the groundnut and keep it aside.  Take a bowl and add the Maggie masala and the tomato sauce and mix well.  Add the cut Onion tomato, groundnut, boiled and cut potatoes  a pinch of chaat masala and mix well.  Do not add salt to this dish as the masala and sauce has salt already.

Transfer this mixture to a serving bowl and garnish with aloo bhujia and coriander leaves!   Enjoy and share this with your friends... Would love to hear your comments and feedback.
